I can remember the first day I stood in front of a group of individuals and taught a session. This was by chance and it was about 25 plus years ago working for a training provider based in Liverpool.
Breed – Dalmatian
Brief overview - Dalmatians are named for Dalmatia, a coastal area that long ago was part of Austria. The dogs are thought to be descendants of the pointer. Dalmatians became popular in the 1800s, when they were used as coach dogs to trot alongside carriages.
Grooming tip - Baths are not needed often--and bathing a Dalmatian too frequently will remove the naturally dirt-repelling oils from its fur.
Interesting fact – The Disney film used 20 adult Dalmatians to play Pongo and Perdita and 230 puppies.
