Level 3 Diploma in Professional Dog Grooming (Exclusive to Pets at Home) Overview
The aim of this unit is to provide knowledge and understanding of canine emergency first aid, including when to call the vet and how to dress wounds, who can administer first aid and the classification of emergencies.
You will understand how to assess and examine injured dogs, along with learning how to provide basic first aid for a variety of potential injuries and emergency events including techniques for conducting CPR.
