Amy Fletcher: RVN Cert VNECC and Director of The Dog First Aid Co. Ltd
Amy began her veterinary career in 2011 as an Auxiliary Nurse before beginning her student nurse training at Myerscough College of Veterinary Nursing in Preston, Lancashire in 2012. Amy qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2015 and moved from first opinion nursing to emergency and critical care at a local out of hours hospital. Shortly after, she began an industry recognised certificate in small animal emergency and critical care (Cert VNECC) which she achieved in 2019. Amy has a passion for canine first aid and launched her own limited company in 2020, delivering dog first aid courses across North East England and surrounding areas to owners and canine professionals as well as supplying a range of dog first aid kits and supplies. Amy continues to work in small animal emergency medicine as well as fulfilling a Head Veterinary Nurse position at a veterinary clinic in Northumberland.
