RAMP APPROVAL FOR iPET NETWORK LEVEL 6 VETERINARY PHYSIOTHERAPY //
iPET Network are delighted to announce that The Academy Of Veterinary Physiotherapy has gained Accreditation (AEP status) from RAMP-Register of Animal Musculoskeletal Practitioners for their delivery of the iPET Network Level 6 Diploma in Veterinary Physiotherapy.
This qualification is the only Level 6 vocational course in Veterinary Physiotherapy for multi species, that is regulated by an Ofqual regulated Awarding Organisation.
The qualification, awarded by iPET Network, has been in development for the past year alongside Wendy Vaughan, Director of The Academy of Veterinary Physiotherapy. In addition, the scaffolding Level 4 and 5 programs have also been awarded RAMP recognition (REP) status.
Vocational education pathways are becoming more popular as learners are looking for choices other than traditional full time University education, and RAMP are passionate about ensuring these programs meet professional standards. RAMP are confident that the team have developed a programme which will deliver a degree level standard of education, in a flexible and modern way.
The program is delivered in three parts to replicate the natural progression through a traditional three year program. Learners are awarded qualifications at Level 4, 5 and 6 which are equivalent to the levels of first to third year on a full time BSc program.
Successful graduation from the level 6 program will stand alone to meet RAMP entry criteria, however the Level 4 and 5 programs can be submitted alongside other educational achievements to support a Pathway Route Application.
The program is delivered as a blended learning model with online theory and face to face practical session. In line with RAMP AEP status, over 1000 practical hours are evidenced and the external quality assurance is provided by iPET Network which is an OFQUAL regulated awarding organisation.
Thank you and congratulations to Wendy and her team for their hard work in collaborating with us on the development of these qualifications. We would also like to thank RAMP-Register of Animal Musculoskeletal Practitioners and their Education Officer Amanda Stears for the assessment of the program.
Contact iPET Network today to discuss the qualification and how to register.
Please be aware that the accreditation process by RAMP applies specifically to the delivery of our qualifications by each individual Training Provider. Therefore, any other interested Training Providers would need to apply to RAMP for assessment if they choose to pursue accreditation.
