THROWBACK TO CRUFTS 2020
During the show we truly had no idea of what was to come or the impact on people, pets and businesses all around us.
However, one thing we did see in our Crystal Ball was that Abbie Toogood was a grooming star of the future.
Abbie trained at Four Paws Groom School and once qualified set up her own business Abbie Toogood Canine Barber
In 2020 she demonstrated her poodle grooming skills on the iPET Network stand (which we like to think was her first stage!) The truth is, she had been working hard to perfect her skills and coming up the ranks in a number of grooming competitions, catching the eye of the production team for Pooch Perfect. She joined the cast in 2021 and did amazing! The TV show provided an insight to our industry with our Training Providers Thomas from Wizard of dogs Cookstown and Michael from Michael Shiels grooming academy competing.
Abbie is supporting Colin Taylor Products on his stand at Crufts this year and we look forward to her popping over to say hello. Abbie is one of many student success stories that make our jobs one of the best!
